When they figure out that you’re an American,
it’s all over, kkkk!(translation=hahaha). They automatically think you can’t
speak/understand, but hey, it’s all good.
Well guys, this week went pretty
well, we had a batismo of a member that has a lot of family that are not
members of the church, so me and my comp got up in front and did a lesson for
them, the restoration. It went really well, felt the Holy Ghost really strong,
and they understood what I said; learned that I just need to speak louder. Still
working on that.
We did a contact as well, we were
walking by and he stopped us and asked us what we believed in, "God, the
Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost”. Started talking
with him, he said he had visited almost all the churches, but didn’t believe
them to be true. Taught him that he could learn the truth through prayer, bore our
testimonies that this Church is true. It went really well. He asked why we
don’t use a cross in the Church. This is something I had studied that very
morning. If we follow the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, miracles can and will
happen, we will be better prepared to help those who cross our path. Well, love
all of you!! Hope you have a great week!!!!
Elder Hilchie
Oh, and we do not use a cross
because it is a symbol of the death of Christ, and we know that Christ rose on
the 3rd day, and that He continues to live and guide us every day. He loves us
more than we could possibly imagine. Always remember that.
Love you guys, let me know how everything
goes!!!!
